SILC Committee Volunteer
Description: Join one of Kentucky SILC’s committees and help shape the direction of independent living services in the state. Committees include:
- SPIL Committee
- Nominating Committee
- Finance Committee
- Public Awareness Committee
- Emergency Preparedness Committee
- Transportation Committee
- Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per month

Event Volunteer
Description: Assist with the planning and execution of Kentucky SILC events, such as the Annual IL Conference, Disability Advocacy Day, and other workshops and trainings.

Outreach Volunteer
Description: Help spread the word about Kentucky SILC and independent living services in your community. Distribute flyers, attend community events, and engage with local organizations.

Membership Information
Become a SILC Member
- Description: Kentucky SILC is seeking individuals with disabilities, advocates, and representatives from disability organizations to serve on the council. As a member, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide input on the State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL)
- Participate in SILC meetings and committees
- Advocate for policies and legislation that support independent living
Become a SILC Partner Organization
- Description: Kentucky SILC partners with disability organizations, service providers, and advocacy groups to advance independent living in the state. As a partner organization, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate on projects and initiatives that support independent living
- Participate in SILC meetings and events
- Share resources and expertise with the SILC and other partners

Make a One-Time Donation
Your financial support helps Kentucky SILC continue its work in promoting independent living and advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities.
Become a Sustaining Donor
Make a recurring monthly or annual donation to provide ongoing support for Kentucky SILC’s programs and initiatives.
