Sierra Potter

Sierra Potter is a dedicated disability advocate with over five years of experience working in the Independent Living field. Before joining the IL community, she began her career as a case manager in drug courts, where she developed a strong commitment to person-centered support and systems advocacy. Sierra holds a degree in Criminal Justice from Eastern Kentucky University.

As a person with a physical disability, Sierra brings valuable lived experience to her work. She was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia at age 24, and these experiences have shaped her passion for accessibility, self-advocacy, and ensuring that people with disabilities have the tools and opportunities to live independently in the community of their choice.Sierra is committed to strengthening Kentucky’s Independent Living network, expanding access to services, and amplifying the voices of people with disabilities statewide.
