Marlene Huff

Marlene Huff is a lifelong disability advocate. She is a staunch advocate for the inclusion of all people in the fabric of their communities. After receiving a doctorate in behavioral sciences, Dr. Huff has worked as an educator, researcher, practitioner, and writer, while always emphasizing the continuum of talents possessed by persons with disabilities. “We can never assume that our right to live independently, wherever we please, however we please, is automatic. We must remain vigilant about any threat to our independence.”
