Many years ago, Joe was introduced to the idea of becoming an advocate and enjoyed advocating for people with disabilities. He serves on the financial committee and is a former chair of SILC. Joe has had the opportunity to use his voice and experience to influence and encourage others by serving on various boards, including Protection and Advocacy and currently, the Human Development Institute, KATS and Network, and SCVR.
